Every facial is thoughtfully customized to your skin’s unique needs, allowing you to rest while we create a treatment plan designed specifically for you. We understand that navigating skincare can often feel confusing and frustrating. With endless products, conflicting advice, and ever-changing trends, it’s easy to feel unsure about what your skin truly needs. That’s why our approach is centered on education, guidance, and intentional care. At Selah, you don’t have to have all the answers. We’re here to help you understand your skin, simplify your routine, and create a path toward healthy, radiant skin that feels sustainable and achievable. Whether you’re seeking corrective skincare solutions, preventative care, or simply a moment of rest in your busy schedule, every treatment is designed with your individual goals in mind. I’m Makayla, the founder and Licensed Esthetician behind Selah Skin. As a Florida native and licensed esthetician since 2022, I have a passion for helping clients achieve healthy, confident skin through personalized treatments and ingredient education. I specialize in corrective skincare and believe that understanding the “why” behind your skincare routine is just as important as the products themselves. My goal is not only to improve the appearance of your skin but to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to care for it well between appointments. Beyond skincare, my faith is at the heart of everything I do. The name Selah is inspired by a word found throughout the Psalms, often understood as an invitation to pause, reflect, and rest. That meaning serves as the foundation of this studio and the experience I hope every client receives. In a world that constantly demands more of us, Selah Skin Studio was created to be a place where you can pause. A place where you can breathe. A place where you can feel cared for. CANCELLATION POLICY
At Selah Skin, each appointment is reserved exclusively for you. To ensure we can best serve all of our clients while respecting the time set aside for each treatment, we kindly ask that you review our cancellation policy below. A deposit is required to reserve all appointments and will be applied toward your scheduled service. Rescheduling & Cancellations • Appointments canceled or rescheduled more than 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time may transfer their deposit to one future appointment. • Appointments canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment time will forfeit the deposit on file. • We understand that emergencies happen. In the event of a legitimate emergency, appointments canceled within 12 hours may transfer their deposit to one future appointment at the discretion of Selah Skin. • Deposits may only be transferred one time. If the rescheduled appointment is canceled or rescheduled again, the original deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment. Late Policy Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have their service modified or rescheduled to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. No-Show Policy Clients who fail to arrive for their scheduled appointment without notice will forfeit their deposit and will be required to submit a new deposit before booking future services.
